Completing Seminary at 10,000 Feet

Overview

The Pillar Seminary has been a huge encouragement to my ministry growth. I have been able to confidently lead my church through this weird time in the world because of the support and leadership skills that I gained at Pillar. My church (at 10,000 feet above sea level) high in the mountains of Colorado has been able to reopen and start new ministries to our people and in the community this year.

Class Highlight

We have been walking through the book of Acts and the series was enhanced because of this semester’s class on life and culture of the people we read about in the Scriptures. This class was special also because we jumped back and forth from the Old Testament time periods to the New Testament. This also meant that Professors Dr. Booth and Dr. Lowery split the time. Their insight was a huge help in understanding the context of what people living among the church thought of the beliefs that seem commonplace or normal to us.

A Note to Donors
