We’ll explore how the physical and historical settings of Jesus’ ministry deepen our understanding of his teachings and actions. This event examines the theological significance of Jesus’ words in relation to the locations where he delivered them and interprets his actions through the lens of their physical and cultural context. It also highlights how archaeological discoveries provide essential insights into the biblical text and the world in which it was written. Pillar's convocation ceremony is for all parties involved at Pillar to mark the beginning of the academic year, to welcome incoming students, and to ask for the Lord’s blessings upon us as we proceed in our work. Attendance is mandatory, though we understand if work schedules don’t permit. We’ll record, and you can watch the recording at your convenience. Guest invites are welcomed.
