This fall, join us for one of our two Lunchtime Seminary (LTS) offerings.
Lunchtime Seminary is a non-credit class taught digitally by one of our professors. It is seminary-level training without the intensity and homework that accompanies our typical seminary class. The course includes access to the class website, teaching time (some pre-recorded and some live), and guided practice in the text together.
Gospel of Luke
Looking for an engaging introduction to biblical studies without the commitment of a full seminary program? Our entry-level Lunchtime Seminary (LTS) course offers a unique opportunity to explore Luke’s Gospel and obtain a foundation for future Gospels study. This 10-week, no-cost digital class provides in-depth training that’s accessible to all. While not as intense as our upper-level LTS course, you’ll still gain a solid understanding of the Gospel of Luke under expert guidance.
- Thursdays at noon central.
- Classes start September 11.
- 10 weeks.
- No charge.
The Book of Revelation: Following Jesus as Dissident Disciples (Part 1)
Looking for in-depth theological study without the commitment of a full seminary program? Our upper-level Lunchtime Seminary (LTS) class offers a unique opportunity to engage deeply with biblical texts under the guidance of Dr. Dan Lowery. This non-credit, digital class provides seminary-level training designed for those eager to go beyond our regular LTS offerings.
- Two sections to choose from on Wednesdays: noon or 7pm central.
- Classes start September 10.
- 12 weeks broken down into 3 modules. Pay as you go ($50 for 1 module) or commit to all 3 ($125).
- Text book used in conjunction with the Bible.
- Part 2 offered in the spring.
